About Me
Laura Yaeger
American Association for Justice
23 years ago, I committed myself to AAJ because I believe in our collective power to hold wrongdoers accountable, drive meaningful change, and amplify the voices of the un(der)represented. My involvement over the years has allowed me to learn what makes AAJ successful. I am ready to bring this knowledge and experience to the next level by serving as AAJ Parliamentarian.

Yaeger Law is a woman-owned complex litigation and personal injury firm dedicated to providing the best client experience at every stage of the litigation process while seeking justice and holding negligent parties accountable.
After practicing complex litigation for almost two decades for two large plaintiffs’ firms, Laura Yaeger knew there was a demand for a firm that would focus on the client and the client experience while seeking justice. A firm that would ensure that the clients have access to their lawyer. A firm that would ensure that their clients felt heard. Yaeger Law, P.L.L.C. was founded on the vision that clients and their situations matter. She uses her significant experience and commitment to technology, best practices, and strategies that develop efficiencies to handle large complex litigations while living that vision. Hence, the tag lines, Your Legal Counsel® and Because YOU Matter.
About Me
Laura Yaeger has practiced complex litigation for over 20 years, taking on difficult but important fights on behalf of individuals injured by lead paint, defective medical devices, and harmful pharmaceuticals. She has represented thousands of individuals in multiple mass torts, including Fen-Phen, Biomet Hip, Stryker Rejuvenate Hip, Transvaginal Mesh, Essure, Risperdal/Invega, GranuFlo, Paragard, RoundUp, Camp Lejeune, Tylenol, and Infuse. Laura has held leadership positions in mass torts litigation, including Stryker Rejuvenate & ABGII MDL #2441, Transvaginal Mesh MDL #’s 2187, 2327, 2325, & 2326, Essure California JCCP #4887, and Risperdal/Invega California JCCP #4775.
Known as an authentic connector, Laura understands the critical importance of relationships, especially in the legal profession. Over the years, she has developed a national reputation and network. Laura is recognized as someone who is always prepared and approaches her objectives with meticulous planning. Colleagues describe her as a formidable opponent who is taken seriously by corporate adversaries and respected by the judiciary.
Laura is deeply involved in all aspects of every case her firm handles, from start to finish, while empowering her team to thrive. Her hands-on approach is seen as a vital strength, minimizing confusion, miscommunication, and inefficiency. Her leadership style is defined by strong communication and an ability to inspire trust. Laura’s team has noted, “Our employer trusts us, and in turn, we honor that trust by being trustworthy and giving it our all.”
With a genuine demeanor, a dedicated work ethic, and deep compassion, Laura has built an active professional network, attracted clients, and grown a strong and respected law firm.
AAJ
Commitment to the American Association for Justice & Florida Justice Association
Over my 23-year involvement in AAJ, I have been a leader, an innovator, and a dedicated member of the organization. After a few years of being a member, I was called to get off the sidelines and become more involved. I did!
I am a President’s Club member and a PAC M Club member. With Zachary Wool, I worked to create a dedicated space for the LGBT community co-founding the LGBT Caucus and serving as Chair in 2016. While working with the LGBT Caucus, I was also dedicated to the Women Trial Lawyer Caucus (WTLC) as part of its Executive Board and served as Chair in 2020. In addition to my work with the caucuses, I have served as a Board of Governors, a member of the Executive Committee twice as an appointed representative, and currently as an elected member. I also have been elected to and currently serve on the Budget Committee. I am the current Chair of the Evergreen Advisory Board. She has also served or is currently serving on numerous AAJ committees, including the National Finance Council, the Membership Oversight Committee serving as Vice Chair the last three years, Public Affairs, Law Schools Committee, and many others.
I am a Leadership Academy graduate and an Evergreen contributor, I write and raise for Justice events and PAC. I have received the Evergreen Award, a couple of Above and Beyond Awards, several Distinguished AAJ Service Awards, and Certificates of Recognition for her contributions to the organization. In 2021, I was honored with the AAJ Harry Philo Award for my outstanding contribution to the civil justice system.
